I'm pleased to present this classic Newport Hills split-level home. It has the best the 60's had to offer–great windows, hardwood floors and no popcorn ceilings! It's a great home. Please stop by my open house on Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM or Sunday from 1 PM to 4 PM. Click the photo to see more details!
Reason 264 of why I love my job–I get to visit cool companies! Yesterday, I delivered to a client at Bungie (granted, my Destiny-loving boys would have been more thrilled). Congrats Sean and Allison!
Windermere Bellevue Commons donated several bags of school supplies and $475 for the back-to-school supply drive! Our contribution goes to help 1600 students on free and reduced lunch in Bellevue School District. (The bummer thing is there are over 3000 students in need, so this helps some but not enough).
Not too shabby for our first year (during a crazy busy time of the year).
Crazy world of real estate log, stardate 42208.4. Condo listing has been on the market 27 days, 17 days since last price reduction. With no prodding phone calls from me, 2 offers arrive into my inbox within hours of each other (moments before I was going to make prodding phone calls).
May numbers are out! No surprise here: it’s still a strong seller’s market. May ended with 1.5 months of inventory–below 3 months is a seller’s market. Last year, the market eased a bit in the April/May timeframe, not this year.
Interest rates have ticked-up, which means buyers have slightly less buying power (if rates go up a point, your buying power lowers by 10%). It will be interesting to see if the rate increase stimulates more activity or causes buyers to tap the breaks. Either way it’s a great time to buy (interest rates are still very low) and/or sell—you just need a pro to help you!

Looking forward to Windermere’s Community Service Day on Friday! It’s always a fun day of giving and camaraderie (and a harsh reality check regarding my lack of ‘real world’ skills—painting, landscaping, etc.).
